Broiler Farming
PW Consolidated Bhd operates the largest broiler farming business in the Northern region of Peninsular Malaysia. The broiler farms are located in Penang, Perak and Kedah respectively. Our qualified veterinarians pay regular visits to these farms to ensure that the feeding programmes established by the Group are carried out. Birds of the desired weight at marketable age are sent to the customer and also our poultry processing plants in Bukit Minyak, Penang and Selayang, Selangor.
Feed mill
We have one of the largest feed mills in Malaysia. The modern automated factory is located at the Bukit Minyak Industrial Park, Penang. The factory is equipped with sophisticated feed milling machineries sourced from the domestic market, the United States of America and the EU countries. The range of product allow customers more choices in the purchasing of livestock feeds including the NUTRIFEEDS TM for broiler, kampong chicken, breeder, layer, cattle and etc.
Breeder Farming
Our breeder farms are located in Perak and Malacca. The closed farmhouses are temperature-controlled and feed and water are dispensed via automated feeding and drinking systems.
Our hatchery uses incubators and hatchers with an evaporative cooling system which creates an environment conducive to the hatching process. To ensure quality chicks and their survival, strict sanitation procedures are practiced and the chicks are delivered in the Group’s own delivery fleet.
Poultry Processing
We are engaged in the operations of trading and poultry processing. Primary processing involves HALAL and Non-HALAL slaughtering and cutting up of chickens to specifications. At the highly mechanized, environmentally friendly processing plants in Selayang, Selangor Darul Ehsan, and Bukit Minyak, Penang, stringent controls ensure that the products meet the highest quality standards. These plants are equipped with chillers, freezers and cold rooms with proper temperature control and regular inspection and monitoring by a team of staff who is dedicated towards the concept of kaizen.
We also supplies poultry meat, in fresh, chilled or frozen forms, and in special cuts to the wet markets, all leading fast food stores, restaurants, hotel eateries, supermarkets and hypermarkets in the Northern and Central region. To ensure that the products meet the highest quality standards, strict sanitation procedures are practiced and the products are delivered in the Group’s own delivery fleet.
Agricultural Nutrient Trading and Repacking
We are also involved in the trading and repacking of agrichemical product. We distribute over 25 brands and 60 agricultural nutrients for the livestock and aquaculture industries all over Malaysia. We import raw material (Soya Bean Meal and Corn), pharmaceuticals products, vitamins, minerals, antibiotics and other feed additives from countries of origin like China, Korea, Indonesia, Bulgaria and etc.

Cattle Farming
The cattle farming segment encompasses cattle fattening, and slaughtering. The cattle fattening involves feedlotting. Cattle feedlotting is an intensive method of rearing cattle for the production of beef through weighs gain where the cattle are kept within the confine of the barns and provided with quality concentrated feeds, nutrient and clean water over the length of the fattening period. At the end of the fattening period of around 90 days, the cattle are moved to the slaughterhouse for slaughtering or sold directly to customers.
